Boundaries

The line stays clear. On purpose.

Most problems in construction come from blurred responsibility. This service is designed so responsibility never blurs: the people building stay responsible for building, the owner stays responsible for deciding, and Crafted Systems stays responsible for making the information honest. Every exclusion below appears in every proposal and every report.

Both sides of the table

Six rules that never bend.

  • 100% remote. No jobsite or home visits, ever
  • Advice is based on documents, systems, numbers, meetings, photographs, video, and reports supplied remotely
  • Remote review is never represented as verifying concealed conditions or replacing physical inspection
  • No autonomous action in client systems. Recommendations and reports are prepared for approval, not executed
  • No engineering, architecture, legal interpretation, code-compliance certification, accounting assurance, or licensed inspection
  • The contracted and licensed parties retain responsibility for work within their scope

Deliberate exclusions

What we will not do, even if asked nicely.

For builders & remodelers

  • No estimating or proposal production
  • No job scheduling or trade coordination
  • No project-management execution
  • No design or selections
  • No homeowner communication on the builder's behalf
  • No bookkeeping corrections or operation of QuickBooks

For homeowners

  • No trade direction or contractor supervision
  • No construction management or schedule ownership
  • No approving or rejecting on the homeowner's behalf
  • No certification of workmanship, percent complete, draw validity, or physical condition
  • No replacement of your builder, architect, engineer, attorney, lender inspector, or municipal inspector

Why so strict

The boundary is what makes the advice trustworthy.

An advisor who also estimates, schedules, or manages has a stake in the answer. One who only structures the information can afford to tell you the truth. That is the entire value, and it only survives if the line holds. Read how the work runs inside these lines on the process page.

Start with fit

Tell me which side of the table you're on.

Share the decision or visibility problem in front of you. If it fits a responsible remote engagement, you'll hear back with the clearest next step, not a generic sales pitch.

I am a…

Remote-only service. No site visit, inspection, or construction management is implied.
